Tablet Time at the Annapolis Valley Regional Library by Angela Reynolds
I got this email from Angela Reynolds, one of my former coworkers at the Annapolis Valley Regional Library, and one of the first LittleeLit Think Tank members:
Finally, after many months of this and that, I have Tablet Time scheduled at 5 branches! I am just now getting the stuff on our website, and it is a PILOT, with 4 sessions at each branch. I only have 6 iPads, so we are limiting registration to 6 families for now. We wrote a grant and got money for the apps and the staff costs – I have 2 people I’ve hired to help do the sessions. And I blame it all on you, Cen.
**Cen’s note: I’ll gladly take the blame for that, as long as you promise to take pictures and report back on how it went!
Here’s the description of Tablet Time:
Join us in exploring an app, a book, and a literacy craft that you can take home! At each session we will explore a new app. There will be time for each family to explore our iPads, hone their tablet skills, ask questions, and discover new learning apps at the end of each session. For families with children ages 3-6. Registration is limited, so please sign up if you are interested!
