ALSC Opposing Viewpoints on Early Literacy in the Digital Age
For those of you who haven’t seen them yet, there was a triolgy of blog posts last week on the ALSC blog that really got children’s librarians talking about what it means to be a children’s librarian now, and how we will need to deal (or not) with emerging technologies for children in libraries. Here are the posts in order. Please look at the comments, too, and add your viewpoint. This is just the beginning of many conversations that we need to have about this so that we can start to work together to produce “Early Literacy Best Practices in the Digital Age.”
