Caldecotts go Digital!
I’ve been asked to put together a list of Caldecotts that are available digitally, and unless I just stick with iTunes, there’s not much out there! Freight Train is the only one I know of that has been made into an app, and that was a very early app and doesn’t stand up, quality-wise, to more recent apps. At the moment my list of digital Caldecotts includes Olivia and a Ball for Daisy (I downloaded that one on my Kindle Fire because I was trying to find books that are available on different platforms, but I’m starting to think that won’t really matter with this project). There are apps that are based on Caldecott honor or medal books, like Don’t Let the Pigeon Run This App, and I think I may include those. I have yet to troll through TumbleBooks, BookFlix and Axis360, and I thought maybe I’d crowd source to see if you guys have any favourite digital Caldecotts! Comment below or tweet me @LittleeLit if you have suggestions.
