Partner with Little eLit or become a guest blogger!

Check out the lovely new page I made for Librarians and Early Childhood Educators. Ping me.  Let’s talk about the cool stuff you’re doing (or want to be doing).

Do you use iPads or other technology in your library or classroom with young kids? Are you thinking about it? Need to propose it to management or a granting agency but you don’t know where to start? Tell us about it! We can help, and we can use your experience to help others develop their own digital services for kids.  Little eLit always welcomes guest bloggers and we’re always up for partnering on innovative projects. 1. Hi, I’ve been a full fledged children’s/teen librarian for 1/12 years in Dixon CA, (population 18,000 near Davis). I’m also kinda old so I’ve been very happily doing Storytimes with flannel boards and fingerplays and paper handouts for songs, etc. Just like 1957. I would love to learn more about all the possibilities and opportunities afforded by applications, ipads and TV monitors etc. I did bring in my husband’s i-Pad to click on clips of animal sounds while reading a book about nighttime, and I couldn’t get it to work. I have a lot to learn and it looks like a lot of fun.
